Bishop Jones is getting ready to shoot a video for their forthcoming single Rain. The band will be working with the highly-acclaimed Poor Specimen Movie Production Company.

April 2000:
Bishop Jones will be one of 4 bands chosen to showcase at the Songwriter's Guild CD release party, which will take place at The Casbah, on April 24. The band is preparing a very powerful show, which will certainly win them new fans.

February 2000:
Bishop Jones is proud to be signed to Spin Records, the internet's hottest new CD label. For a new band. attracting attention in today's overcrowded music market is all but impossible. With the might and muscle of Spin Records behind them, Bishop Jones is ready to "take it to the next level" ! !

February 2000:
Paul accompanied Chris McDonough as the opening act for Peggy Lebo. The Concert, held at the C.C.A.C. and benefiting the Carlsbad schools, was a sell-out, largely due to the P.R. talents of Karen McDonough. The involvement of Ticketmaster, as well as local radio, TV, and press, also contributed to the runaway success of the evening. Paul and the band look forward to a great working relationship with Chris and Karen, who are already planning "bigger and better" shows for the future.

January 2000:
Loveless ( featured on the latest Bishop Jones CD, That Pure Euphoric Feeling ) has been selected for the Songwriter’s Guild Compilation CD, a charity project to benefit the San Diego Children’s Hospital. The CD will be released in March 2000 and will be available at major record store chains countywide. The CD is also expected to receive significant airplay.

November 1999:
Bishop Jones are winners at the Belly Up Tavern Neighborhood Watch night.

October 1999:
The Bishop Jones Mailing List passes the "400" mark.

June 1999:
Bishop Jones "looked after their own", headlining an all-star concert at the Rancho Buena Vista High School. The event was a fundraiser for the basketball program, and, by all accounts, the band put on an unbelievable show.

Spring 1999:
Paul's music students are frequent guests at Bishop Jones shows, opening for the band, and sometimes even sitting-in on guitar or bass. This is a wonderful opportunity for the students, and their obvious enthusiasm can't help but benefit the music community in San Diego county.
