Anthony Shawn Helm :: vocals, guitar

Shawn began performing in 1983. He moved to Austin in 1987, and spent the next 7 years singing and strumming his way through every club on 6th Street.
 
In between live shows, Shawn also kept busy doing studio vocal work.
 
In 1992, he won the Austin Songwriter's Contest.
 
In 1995, he moved back to San Diego, where he met Larry and formed the musical bond that would become Swingtree.
