Okay, so you won't all fit in the living room, and the commute is probably a bit rough for some of you. Luckily, the nice people who gave us computers thought of that, so you can download music and sing along at home.
The "wav" format was the internet standard for audio files, because just about any computer can play wav files, but wav files are huge, so they take forever to download. Then some clever person invented the MP3 format, which gives us "near as dammit" the same quality as wav files, but at a fraction of the size, which means a fraction of the download time.
Most computers can already play MP3 files. If yours can't, don't panic, there is a simple solution. You can download a free copy of WinAmp (the most popular MP3 player) simply by clicking on the WinAmp logo.
Don't be put off by the prospect of having to install a new program. Easy-to-follow instructions are included, and it will take less time than downloading a single wav file.
MP3 is fast becoming the new internet standard, so you will come across MP3 files again and again.
