WHAT THE HECK IS A SWINGTREE??

SwingTree is what happens when chance brings together a veteran of the Austin club circuit, a San Diegan guitar whiz, and an expatriate Irishman with sticks. An intriguing combination, but what flavor is it??
 
SwingTree is about strong melodies and lyrics that matter. The music is sometimes driving, sometimes not-so-much, always heavily under the influence of acoustic guitar. The feel of the 90s (a la Matchbox or Hootie) is very much in evidence, but artists like Mellencamp and Petty have also left their mark.
